Fabrizio Coscarelli

Fabrizio Coscarelli lives in Rome but is originally from the small town of Fuscaldo, in Calabria in southern Italy. Inspired by his father Luigi Coscarelli, who equally a unique artist in his own right, a stonemason (Scalpellino) who spent his life making sculptures, in particular with wood and stone.

Fabrizio therefore grew up with his father as a role model, learning as his father surrounded him with his ideas of art. He soon learned that he too could share his own…

In his own words: “I like to consider myself as a humble ‘creator’ of ideas, combining the values of the tradition with those of the modernity. My idea Is to make a sustainable art, reusing old material and wood from abandoned, felled olive trees, bringing new life through unique & altered forms”.
