Katy Donaldson has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. She has lived and worked in London, Dubai, Italy, Brussels and Athens. Now based in Kent in the south east of England she returns to Dubai regularly and maintains a strong affection for the city and the region. Originally trained as a traditional portrait photographer in London’s Bond Street, Katy has since expanded her work to include fine art, still life, fashion, beauty, landscape travel and commercial. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions and worked for several magazines both in the UK, Dubai and Internationally.
Katy’s work has been featured on the covers and inside many magazines in the Middle East, has been exhibited internationally and has been licensed for a variety of products around the world.
Inspired by her extensive travel (she lived and worked abroad for 10 years in Greece, Dubai, Belgium and Italy) Katy has written and illustrated travel articles for magazines, and collaborated with inspiring art directors and designers to produce several beautiful coffee table books for prestigious international clients such as The One & Only Group of hotels.
Katy now lives in rural Kent in the South East of England where she works out of a studio in a converted cow barn.
Katy is also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Dipingo Design – a greetings card and image publisher. The company produces high-end cards and gifts for retail clients both in the UK and overseas.
